Discover the history of the jewel of the center of Andalusia-Free Tour

Discover the ancient city of Antequera, the heart of Andalusia. At the chosen time we will meet in the Plaza de Castilla, just below the Los Enamorados monument in the center of it. We will reveal the history of this wonderful city. Starting from Plaza de Castilla we will go to the other important square of the city, the Plaza de San Sebastián, meeting along the way some of the most important characters of the city, the Plaza de Toros and the centuries-old churches. After visiting the church of the same name in the square and enjoying the fantastic atmosphere that surrounds it and the km 0 of Andalusia, we will walk towards the historic center where we will contemplate the beautiful Baroque architecture that surrounds it. Then we will leave for the Alcazaba, where we will be surprised by the height of its walls and the incredible views of the whole city and the Peña de los Enamorados. After taking the obligatory photographs of the panoramic view of the city, we can see the Royal Collegiate of Santa María la Mayor and the Roman baths. Finally we will go down to the walls and finish the free tour in Las Descalzas convent after two hours getting to know and discover this historical city.
