We do free tours in every city we visit and James was honestly one of the best! He had fantastic knowledge to the city and its history! You could tell he really loves York! He was also ever so kind to really care about us and spent the walking parts of the tour getting to know us to personalise the tour even further! I could recommend James any more! Thank you!

The tour with James is really worth participation. You will learn a lot on York and its history as well visit the must-see places. The tour, however rich in details, is conducted in a very friendly manner in comparison to some other guides who seem to be rather more focused on dates and facts only. I mean they are a bit stiff and 'machine like', which I experienced myself during the visit to York. I like comparing services and for me James's is excellent.
