Kevin is very friendly, informative and approachable. The tour is mainly about crime and the gang wars but with other interesting information given along the way. It's a leisurely walk not rushed and very worth while. I would definitely recommend!

It was easy to follow all the information shared by Kevin during the tour, some of which included some curiosities about the criminal history of Sheffield apart from the essential tourist attractions!

Kevin was a brilliant tour guide, so knowledgeable and had some great personal stories to add to the mix. A great couple of hours learning about history and gang wars, which I knew nothing about. Was a great way to get a different perspective of the city. Highly recommend a tour with Kevin ☺️

I guess every city has its dark periods....it was interesting to hear about the criminals and how human nature works....with kevin having been a police officer he would have first hand experience about law breakers which would prove to be important in relating to Sheffield's dark history!.... would definitely recommend this tour

not your average walking tour! very informative and knowledgable about historic gangs and police incidents in Sheffield. The tales were interwoven and told very well. Amazing, we have lived here for so long yet Kevin showed us things that we didn't even know were there, we probably walked past 100 times without realising. His knowledge of Sheffield was outstanding and he was able to impart this in an easy to understand, informative way. The size of the group (5) made it informal and enabled people to ask questions en route, We would recommend this trip.

Kevin's tour was very well delivered, with great confidence and a real passion for his home City, I would recommend anyone that likes to get below the veneer of an unknown City takes this tour. Kevin made us feel welcome and we really enjoyed his telling of a great story.

Nice tour if you have a particular interest in Sheffield’s broad general history and gangland scene. No real mention of Sheffield’s steel history, but in fairness, there are other tours that cover that part of the City’s history.

We are a family of 4 with 2 teenage children. Kevin is a great guide and story teller. His tour offers a history of the city largely through the lens of the criminal underworld. Kevin's knowledge and enthusiasm for the subject shines through. We enjoyed the tales of the murky goings on.
