Mumbai Slum Tour of Dharavi With Local Guide

Great tour! Guide was on time. We took a train a couple stops to the first location that was a good market on the beach and had 3-4 vegetarian/Indian dishes and some ice cream. Then we walked to another market that had meat dish options that were really good too. The tour ended at a delicious natural ice cream store with authentic fruit flavors. All the food was great and the guide was nice enough to share his umbrella with me since it was pouring rain and I didn’t have one. Also helped me find soap to buy at a nearby store at the last stop since I’d run out. Went above and beyond. 🤩👍

I was on a business trip and decided to do a walking tour before my flight. I had joined another tour but the guide wanted to change the timing upon request by the other guests (which is a family of 5). As the timing didn’t work well for me, I cancelled that tour and joined Sanjay’s. And what a blessing in disguise it was! Despite the fact that I was the only guest, Sanjay provided 5* professional service. He was knowledgeable and entertaining, sharing the history of Mumbai and culture of India as we explored the streets, visiting Bombay Stock Exchange, St Thomas Cathedral, Gateway of India, Taj Mahal Palace Hotel etc. I have done walking tours in different parts of the world and this is one of the best I’ve ever experienced. Highly recommended!
