Chrisa was an outstanding guide to the Civil War both its national context and specifically in Barcelona.She was very knowledgeable and presented a huge amount of information clearly logically and accessibly. For people who know not a lot or even quite a bit about the history of Spain she is the guide for you. In addition her explanation of the progression into Franco's dictatorship and how this all affects what's happening in Spain today was great. Her previous work helping uncover the history of the war and post war period informs her tour - this is not just looking at buildings, this tour concerns lived history and experience of trauma by a society and individuals.
