Tour description
🕌 Discover the Real Zanzibar: History, Culture & Swahili Heritage
Zanzibar is not only famous for its stunning beaches and sandbanks—it's also home to more than 50 islands rich in Swahili history and culture, shaped by Indian, Arab, Portuguese, British, and African influences.
Long before the Portuguese set foot on the island in the 16th century, Zanzibar was ruled by powerful Swahili leaders known as Mwinyi Mkuu. They were Muslims who governed a prosperous kingdom and controlled important trade routes across the Indian Ocean.
When you visit Stone Town, book a tour with me to uncover the amazing history that shaped this UNESCO World Heritage site.
