Hello! I am a professor of English and Tourism Guide, received at the Perito Moreno Institute, I also have the credential that accredits me that I am a Registered Guide in the city of Buenos Aires. I have experience as a bilingual guide. , agencies and private guide. I am currently working as an English teacher as a stable job and as a guide as an extra and vocational activity. I love going out, accompanying people and showing our beautiful city ..... My curiosity about walking tours came up this year when I visited Europe for the first time and did walking tours.
We will visit the heart of the city, its history and some of its most notable bars.
The tour begins in Plaza de Mayo and its surroundings. the cathedral, Government House and its surroundings. Then, we will go to one of its featured bars like La Puerto Rico. Then have the opportunity to see the oldest churches , belonging to different religious orders.
We will continue walking along the oldest artery of the city, Avenida de Mayo , and we will visit Florida Street, where one of the oldest tango venues is located in the Guemes gallery and then we will show the most emblematic and well-known , Café Tortoni , we will continue through the area to end the tour in another recently restored highlight called La Ideal.
We will meet you in the Plaza de Mayo, you will be next to the Pyramid in the center of the square. I will have my Tour Guide credential and something orange.
Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
