Great to meet you, I'm Binh. My English name is Ben I am a founder of A Local Guide Team with knowledgeable and passionate co-guides. I first discovered Saigon while studying at University after leaving our hometown in rural Vietnam. I immediately became fascinated by the city's unique blend of culture, history, and delicious cuisine. My education focused on tourism, and I have extensive experience working as a local English-speaking guide for various companies. But, I finally decided it was time to bring my custom-tailored experiences to my guests, so I started this local experience. Hop on the back of our motorbikes like the locals. Follow me as we traverse through the city's districts, witnessing the shift from affluent areas to vibrant local neighborhoods, exploring bustling outdoor markets and winding alleyways. This experience offers not only a glimpse into the city's history but also an opportunity to taste local drinks and cuisine while engaging in discussions about Vietnamese culture

10. Driving along the Saigon rivers to see the entire beautiful city center.
This is itinerary:
1. I provide a deep dive into the history of some of Saigon’s most famous locations with historical photos through the whole story behind such as Notre Dame Cathedral, Central Post Office, Independent Palace, and The Burning Monk Memorial
2. Next locations, discover some local points that are off the beaten path. Catching your breath by drinking a cup of Vietnamese coffee. Visiting the complex old apartments and explore local life here.
3. Visiting flower and outdoor markets, you will learn some Vietnamese words for fun to practice bargaining prices with vendors and sample some fruits (morning slot) and local drinks - a shot of local rice wine or sugar cane juice. For the food menu, you will choose broken rice with BBQ pork or noodle soup
4. In Chinatown, you will be blessed with one of the oldest and most fascinating TEMPLES and zipping around through the buzzing Silk Street and Lanterns Street of this colorful, incredible Chinatown.
This tour is operated by SCOOTERS, so I have trained my co-guides to help me, each tour guide will drive each guest and you guys just sit behind of our scooters. Therefore, I need at least a few hours to arrange the scooters, after you book the tour successfully, can you please send me the message to confirm that you will join the tour. If you would text me close to the starting time, I could not arrange the scooter in time for you.

Because the tour is by SCOOTER, so we can pick you up at your hotel address as long as it is in a central area like districts 1, 3, or 4. Otherwise, we will meet at the meeting place, Saigon Opera House. After you book, please send us your hotel address to pick you up.

2. Next locations, discover some local points that are off the beaten path. Catching your breath by drinking a cup of Vietnamese coffee. This coffee place is known as Spy House of VC with Weapon Bunkers, with a secret experience to go down the tunnel to the third floor.
3. Visiting flower and outdoor markets, you will learn some Vietnamese words for fun to practice bargaining prices with vendors and sample some fruits (morning slot) and local drinks - a shot of local rice wine or sugar cane juice. For the food menu, you will choose broken rice with BBQ pork or noodle soup
4. In Chinatown, you will be blessed with one of the oldest and most fascinating TEMPLES and zipping around through the buzzing Silk Street and Lanterns Street of this colorful, incredible Chinatown.
5. We will get on the scooter and drive you around Chinatown. Next, we will drive you along the Saigon River to see the amazing views of the city. And then we will drop you off at your hotel.
Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
