I'm the founder of a locally run tour company based in Saigon, a licensed international tour operator, specializing in immersive food, culture, history, and outdoor experiences since 2019. Each of our tours offers a genuine connection to local life and culture.
I have spent ten years in the tourism industry, working as a tour leader. I also founded and led a team of well-trained, knowledgeable local guides -including Emmie, Hani, Daniel, Den, Lily, Kyle, Harry, Soli, Eddie, Ban, Jasmine and others -who run unique scooter-based adventures in Saigon since 2019. The tour was amazing!! So much fun, the guides Soli and Binh were absolutely amazing. We felt very safe on the bike despite the busy traffic in HCMC! They were very knowledgeable and showed us some great places. We also stopped at two amazing places to have coffee & lunch which was great :) Can highly recommend!!
We really enjoyed the tour with Harry and Ban. Both were very friendly, good speaking Englisch and welcoming. We had nice drive around the city and good information stops. We invited our Guide for Dinner and enjoyed the talking. We can totally recommend to do that tour. We have now a nice overview from Hoi Chi Minh City and good advises for next days. Thanks a lot

My partner and I did a private scooter tour of Ho Chi Minh City with Harry and Eli and had a great time! They were both super interesting, knowledgeable and friendly and had great English, which was really nice because it allowed us to have great conversations and learn a lot about Vietnamese culture and history. Ho Chi Minh City was our last stop in Vietnam so we had done our fair share of tours before this one, but this is probably the one where we learned the most and best information about Vietnam and its culture, history, politics etc. It was really nice! It was raining and rush hour when we did our tour but raincoats were provided and Harry and Eli did a great job of driving in the madness! A few of the stops that were initially listed on the itinerary were pretty quick or only in passing, not really a stop (Independence palace, Cambodian market, post office) but the tour covers a lot of ground (and it was rush hour so lots of road traffic) so we still felt like it was worth it and we got a lot of information at the other spots we visited. They also brought us to a local lunch spot since we hadn’t had a chance to eat before the tour and the food was amazing!! Overall it was a great tour and we would definitely recommend it, Ho Chi Minh City is big and busy so scooter was a great way to see it! Ps., if you’re booking through Guruwalk and select the option of having a driver for the scooter, the tour is private and a fixed price that includes everything (as opposed to a tip-based “free” tour), otherwise if you want to self drive they also offer scooter rental for a fee + the tour will be a group tips-based tour. I believe you can also book the same tour through Airbnb. We booked ours through Guruwalk just a few hours before our tour and Ben was very responsive over WhatsApp to organize everything for us on very short notice, thanks so much!
