Great to meet you, I am Ben.
I founded the local guide team in Ho Chi Minh city with knowledgeable and passionate co-hosts Daniel, Bob, Emmie, Den, Lily, Urri, Hani, and others who are well-trained.
We are university students who are from rural areas Vietnam and come to Ho Chi Minh City to study at the university. Our interest is that we like to show people around our city and share our perspectives and stories. We know the hidden gems and have a very deep passion and love for our city, which we like to share.
Each local guide comes from a different rural area Vietnam with a different background. With difficult life in rural areas, we all embrace big dreams and are ambitious when we come to Ho Chi Minh City to find opportunities to change our life.
We are so grateful to our guests who have chosen us and given us opportunities to be your local guide to show you the best things about our country's life, food, culture, and history. This amazing job gives us a lot of opportunities to learn English, get money to pay for school fees, and meet a lot of people around the world to share and exchange our culture, and learn from our guests as well.
We keep up the excellent service and appreciation for our guests! That’s why we are very proud of receiving the reward, “Certificate Of Excellence 2023” issued by Trip Advisor, and Guruwalk. Absolutely! Maintaining that sense of authenticity is key to ensuring that our guests have a memorable and enjoyable experience. It’s clear that you value the personal connection and the feeling of spending time with friends rather than just going on a typical organized tour.
Great experiences for our guests are never accomplished by one person but by a team. Thanks for our team’s dedication to providing exceptional hospitality.
Why choose us?
1. Our slogan is "SATISFACTION - WE LIVE IT. YOU'LL LOVE IT"
2. We are local guides with knowledge, passion, and personal perspectives
3. Connect: Warmly welcome guests, turning strangers into friends
Urii, my guide, picked me from my hotel, then we started our tour. She’s very friendly and knowledgeable on the places that we visited. We went to the coffee shop with the secret passages, and I really love it! It was a mini Cu Chi Tunnel experience! Overall, the tour was very good, even if it was raining, she has a raincoat for you! 😆
Sadly, it was the worst tour I had so far. The food was great, but the guide Daniel was not great. He spent a lot of the time on his phone, usually he didn't give much information about the food, but just explained what it was. Some stories, more cultural background information etc. to the food would have been nice. At the end he counted the money each person gave him and called you out "this is not enough", if you didn't give the minimum they would expect which was sent as a message beforehand. Sorry Daniel, step your game up and people are happy to tip you better.
Chris was amazing, excellent guide and super profesional.
This tour isn't "free" as advertised. They are very adamant about getting 250 000 dong per person - will repeatedly remind you. I don't mind paying but to advertise it as free or tip based and then demanding at least 250 000 is deceitful even when the tour guide was doing the bare minimum
all good, i really enjoyed the tour and the guide was friendly
