Free Walking Tours in Cork

Dairmuid provided a very well structured tour. He set the things we were about to see in a clear historical context. He was informative and entertaining while we walked from place to place. He covered the development and architecture of Cobh, its role as the point of departure for more than a million Irish during the famine, and the Titanic. He also ensured we went to the right places to take the best pictures to remember the visit. A very informative, interesting and entertaining 90 minutes.

We had a walking tour in Cork with Owen on the 10th of August and it was interesting. We learnt about city history, some facts about Ireland and the places that we visited. We got recommendations for the places to eat and listen to Irish music. Owen told us some jokes and interacted with each of us on the way to the next place. Thank you for the tour!

He was excellent; we learnt a lot with him. Also, he was hilarious and wasn’t afraid to ask for questions, in addition, he managed to answer all of them. On the whole, he was the best guide I’ve met in my stay in Ireland. I encourage you all to do this tour if you want to have a more than enjoyable time.

A good tour, pretty informative with a good balance between history and present, solid information and story-telling. Owen (if I remember his name corrctly),. a fromer English language teacher, was a very knowledgeable guy who was happy to answer any upcoming question.
