I'm your guide, and I know New York City well. I was born and raised on the Upper West Side, have lived in New York City my whole life, and am an artist entrenched in the art world myself.

Places We'll Visit:

  2. Miles McEnery Gallery Next, we'll walk south to 22nd Street to Miles McEnery Gallery, specializing in Post-War American Art.
  3. Hauser & Worth we'll stay on 22nd Street and visit Hauser & Worth, a contemporary art gallery representing a diverse range of artists and estates.
  4. Dia: Chelsea staying on 22nd Street, we'll visit the Dia's Chelsea location! The Foundation assists artists in the creation of projects with scales and scopes that standard museums and art galleries do not support.
  5. The Shah Garg Foundation our final gallery on 22nd street will be The Shah Garg Foundation, supporting scholarship and public engagement highlighting the achievements and innovations of women artists.
  6. Gladstone Gallery Next, we'll head to Gladstone Gallery on 21st Street, specializing in modern and contemporary art; featuring a new exhibit on the dark side of social media and online gaming!
  7. Paula Cooper Gallery Also on 21st Street, we'll head to Paula Cooper Gallery, which is famous for being the first art gallery in Soho, moving to Chelsea in 1996, and specializing in conceptual and minimal art.
  8. The High Line Next, we'll take a stroll down The High Line, which has some art installations of its own, en route to The Meat Packing District!

If you don’t know much about art, but would love to get immersed in it, Noah is a perfect guide. I was fortunate to experience it first hand on a one-on-one tour with him. The first thing that struck me was his question: “What do you see here?” So he didn’t throw any terms or facts on me. Instead, he asked about my impressions and interpretations and then added his ideas. It was an engaging chat, in which both participants were genuinely interested. Another great thing about the tour were galleries and exhibits. We hopped over a few galleries, and all of them were different. Noah’s enthusiasm about the subject were so infectious. When I got tired with the first three painting galleries, he urged me to see some installations. And I didn’t regret it. My favorite ones were in Dia gallery. The pieces by Delcy Morelos were just insane. Never have I seen, smelled and sensed anything like this before. Thanks, Noah, for a wonderful tour and a lovely chat. It was really special.
