Tour description

This is the best tour of the Riebeek Valley.

We will visit the coffee roasters where you will see the different blends and the roasting process. This is a good time to get that early caffeine kick to start the day. You can buy coffee at your own expense

After that we will visit 2 different   olive and wine farm. At the first farm you can taste more than just olives. This is a factory of fresh produce of the valley. It varies from balsamic, honey and off course , wine! In season there will be grapes or peaches to buy. all of these tastings are free of charge.

Just opposite this farm we will visit another olive farm where you have the opportunity to  do an olive tasting. The olive tasting is optional at R40 pp  Here you can taste the best wines of the valley (optional at R15 per wine )and relax under the trees. If you have time and a lot of energy you can take do the hiking trail of 2 - 5km in the mountains and through the vineyards. There is a map to make sure you do not get lost...not a bad place to get lost though
On our way back to the village I will tell you all the secrets of the town and the stories from the old farmers. There was always a bit of a rival between the two towns, Riebeek Kasteel and Riebeek West.  On this tour you will understand more about the two small towns and their people.  I will show you the small butchery in town  here you can buy traditional biltong.  This tour is fun and interesting. You will experience the hospitality of the people of a small town. a Definite must for someone who loves food and wine. This town has lots to offer. After the tour I will show you where you can go for lunch or dinner and some more places tou can explore.
