We are a young team that left Spain in 2009 and we are in London to create this beautiful project. At the request of our "walkers" we grew up in Paris, Dublin, Budapest, Cordoba, Cadiz, Porto, Lisbon, Segovia, Salamanca, Rome and Athens teaching these cities to thousands of Spanish speakers. We are professional guides and we are madly in love with every corner of the cities we teach.

Tour description

Dublin is filled with light and tradition during the Christmas season. Discover its unique atmosphere and the main customs of the Irish people with the help of an official Spanish-speaking guide .

We'll start at Dublin Castle to learn about the origins of Christmas and some interesting facts. While it's open, we'll also be able to enjoy the Christmas at the Castle market .

Christmas in the city is incomplete without the Dublin Winter Lights festival. At Barnardo Square, we'll learn more about how it works and where else we can enjoy it. Here, we'll also delve into the significance of the Irish traditions of placing candles in windows or holly wreaths on doors.

We'll discover the Christmas Pantomimes , the ancient customs celebrated on Boxing Day across the country in front of the iconic Olympia Theatre , before strolling through the heart of the iconic Temple Bar , the best place to immerse yourself in a unique Christmas atmosphere.

Parliament Square and Grafton Street await us, where we'll learn what the Irish eat at Christmas, where they shop, and how to greet each other in Gaelic. We'll also be surprised by some unique traditions, such as the Christmas bath .

We'll finish in front of Mansion House , while we learn how New Year's Eve and New Year's Day are celebrated in the city, and what Women's Christmas is all about. Nollaig Shona Duit!
