Across the Bosphorus: Asian Side Essentials
Tour description
Step off the T1 at Kabataş and into a little adventure: we’ll ride the ferry across the Bosphorus, sea breeze on our faces, watching palaces and minarets slide by. On the Asian shore, Kuzguncuk welcomes us like a village—colorful wooden houses, neighbors chatting on stoops, and an interfaith trio side-by-side. I’ll guide you through quiet lanes and stories of everyday Istanbul before we follow the waterfront toward Üsküdar, where the skyline opens.
We’ll see & talk about: Kabataş ferry life, Kuzguncuk’s wooden façades, Beth Yaakov Synagogue (ext.), Aya Panteleimon Church (ext.), cozy İcadiye Street, Bosphorus history, Paşalimanı promenade, Mimar Sinan’s jewels—Mihrimah Sultan Mosque (if open) and Şemsi Paşa on the water.
End point: Üsküdar ferry docks (easy ferries, Marmaray, metro).
This isn’t a checklist—it’s a feeling: the gentler, local side of Istanbul. I will bring the stories, hidden corners, and photo tips. Spots are limited to keep it friendly and flexible—book now and let’s cross to Asia together!
