Free walking tours in Aix-en-Provence

Alexandra was amazing! Apparently the other people who signed up for the morning tour changed to the afternoon, but Alexandra still showed up, just for me, and adjusted the tour according to my specific interests. I signed up for the Spanish tour but my Spanish is really quite basic, and Alexandra kindly did he best to also give information to me in English. The route was perfect for 2 hours, and I really learned a lot about the history, people, art, culture and food of Aix-en-Provence. ¡Muchísimas gracias, Alexandra!

Edouard was a lovely, genial guide who gave us a great tour round Aix. The pace of the tour was relaxed but informative with a short coffee stop along the way.

Sehr tolle Tour

Excellent tour in Aix-en Provence! Even though I was the only one on the tour Edouard took the time to explain everything in detail. Extremely well informed and humourosly tour that's how I would describe this tour and I feel it's a must have for a visit in Aix. I really enjoyed our frenglish conversation and I am looking forward to join to one of his tours again. He also has a great list of food recommendations that I can surely confirm.

This was a very informative and entertaining tour. Edouard was very congenial and it was as if walking the town with an old friend. He gave us lots of interesting facts about the places we visited. He was also generous with giving us recommendations for various shops that were his favorites having lived in Aix for many years. It was a great tour and hope to be back again one day for another visit.

I loved loved the tour Paula gave! She was brillant and very informative. She was so professional too. I didn’t feel bored because her storytelling and delivery was fun and made me even more curious. I fell in love with the city because she made me feel the warmth and beauty of it. She knew her stuff and the route she took was so beautiful , intriguing and not too tiring! Absolutely would recommend!!!

The best walking tour guide we’ve had in France. Paula is an excellent communicator and very knowledgeable of the city and its history. Definitely recommend for anyone visiting Aix-en-Provence.

We weren’t too impressed with Aix-en-Provence our 1st day, so we signed up for the walking tour. So glad we did. Edouard’s tour changed our view of the city. We learned a lot about the city past & present and saw places we would not have found on our own.

Ted was fantastic, the route covered the top spots in Aix centre. He pointed out, explained things, and shared historical information in a way that made the city come alive. Highly recommend!
