Nos explico como funciona el barrio rojo y nos aclaro muchas dudas que haban en el grupo, pero no solo fue esto, sino la historia que hay sobre el barrio y los lugares aledaños. Muy buen tour. Lo recomiendo.

Our guide was incredible with his ease of presentation and with all the stories.. history and details.. Pedro was one of the best guides we have ever had… loved all the Amsterdam history an our Red Light tour was filled with great stories and little details.. highly recommend it and him!

It exceeded my expectations. I’ve joined free walking tours in many different countries and cities while traveling, and I would say he is one of the best guides I’ve had. He was incredibly knowledgeable and entertaining, and I really enjoyed listening to him. What I especially appreciated was that the tour wasn’t just about the Red Light District—we also learned about the history, culture, and background of the Netherlands. It gave me a much deeper understanding of the country and made the experience even more interesting.

I never expected the guide to come up to me and tell me, after I gave him money, that my donation wasn't enough. I do understand guides have to be paid a fair amount, but as I was on a tight budget, I chose Guru Free Tours because I know I can have access to historical tours at a cheaper price; otherwise I could have never afforded a 45 euros tour to discover the city. For a 1h30 I gave 7 euros, but the guide asked for 10 euros more by card and gave me back 3 euros. He kept 14 euros in total, double what I gave. Coming back for more money after I gave him and telling me it wasn't enough made me feel uncomfortable and humiliated because I was on a budget. But because I am on a budget I cannot give a lot of money, maybe I should continue the tours. A shame, because I thought that was the idea, making it accessible for everyone.
