Galih was a most informative and very articulate guide. We enjoyed our tour immensely and learned such a lot about the history and culture of Malang. Galih shared many stories and showed us photos on his ipad to elaborate and explain. I highly recommend this fantastic activity in Malang.

We had a really nice tour by Dito and learned a lot about Malangs History. Dito had interesting information about nearly every building and sight in central Malang. We nearly walked and talked for 3,5 hours, and it never felt boring and time flew by! Dito even showed us some hidden coffee shop and the way how coffee is drunken in the Indonesian way :) Overall it was a 10/10 experience and a really good start into our stay in Malang to get to know the city. He was extremely friendly and helpful. Gave us plenty of care and attention, making sure my partner was feeling okay with the heat and animal markets (she is vegan and can sometimes be uncomfortable around caged animals). I would highly recommend him.

Dito is so friendly and knowledgeable!! I was the only guest on the tour today and yet he was so patient to answer all my questions and extend the tour for 1,5 hours. I had the best time!! His english is perfect as well as his knowledge about the past and current history of the city and all of Indonesia. I recommend this tour to everyone!!!

Such an interesting tour, you learn about the history of the town and of Indonesia but as well about daily life nowadays. Galih Adi speaks fluently english and knows a lot. The pictures he shows to add more context help to understand how the city has changed over time. Time flies quickly, it is really worth it!!! Thanks again!

Great guy, friendly and knowledgeable. He had a tablet in hand which showed the origin of the building being shown and year of construction which was very instructive. Nice mix of old, historic buildings and modern marketplaces which covered the core of Malang town. Highly recommended.

Highly recommend if you want to know more about the history of Malang and get to know the central area a bit more. Dito is very knowledgeable about Malang and it's history. He also showed me pictures of how the different buildings used to look like. Time flew by while he led me through the route and patiently answered my many questions :)

This was the perfect tour to start your stay in Malang. You’ll get a great (and if interested very detailed) overview of the history and the city center. We could ask anything and had some lovely chats with the guide. Apart from the city sights he also pointed out some lovely and/or authentic places to get food and drinks. This was very helpful for our stay here. We can recommend this tour!
