Free walking tours in Bandung

We had a wonderful tour with Anam. He went beyond what was expected to help me find the house my father was born in. There now is a restaurant and he talked with the staff for us. I enjoyed his company! He found some additional information in the FB group re historic Bandung that he is a member of.

Amazing tour through the city with a perfect mixture of historical knowledge, cultural gems and hidden spots you'd never find on your own. Incredibly lucky to have had the chance to experience it, and Anam is an wonderful and knowledgable host.

Great tour, Anum was super friendly and answered all our questions. The places we visited were interesting, we tried some tasty local snacks, and even got a free souvenir at the end!

Ia menyediakan hand sanitizer dan lotion anti nyamuk yang ia tawarkan pada saat peserta membutuhkannya. Saya pribadi merekomendasikan beliau pada liburan Bandung kalian. Soal fee, ia tidak memiliki rentang spesifik namun membayar lebih menurut saya itu sepadan untuk 4 jam tur berjalan kaki sekitaran Bandung Kota. Semoga Anam dapat membuat jalur tour baru dan kami dapat ikut kembali di lain waktu. 🇬🇧We randomly found a walking tour guide in Bandung other than Bandung Good Guide, and it turned out to be a fun option. We were very impressed with Anam's guidance, who was engaging, informative, communicative, polite, friendly, and attentive. He provided hand sanitizer and mosquito repellent upon request. I personally recommend using his tour for your Bandung vacation. He doesn't have a specific fee, but I think the extra charge is worth it for 4 hours walking around Bandung. Hopefully, Anam can create a new tour route, and we can join him again next time.

This was a fantastic walking tour. Anam was interesting, intelligent, informative, knowledgeable, and friendly. The tour started in the old part of Bandung and covered a lot of the city’s history as well as its architecture. We also passed important landmarks such as the mosque, and visited the oldest coffee shop in Bandung, which was extremely interesting. We then went on to the market, which was again really engaging. I highly recommend this tour. Anam is extremely knowledgeable and answered many, many questions that I asked him. I learned much more about Bandung than I ever could have learned on my own.

Really enjoyed my tour with Anam. He had so much knowledge about the city and was very enthusiastic. I was the only one which i wasnt sure about beforehand but Anam was so kind. Loved the last stop at the couples house in the kampung that made the indonesian puppets! Would recommend this tour!

A must do in Bandung! Anam was a fantastic guru, we learnt so much in our 4 hours together. The tour was such a great mix of history and culture, and really well curated with a snack and coffee stop too. The Bandung city tour with Anam was so interesting and enjoyable! He knows a lot and can tell stories in a delightfully engaging way. Anam is also open for exchange and shared information that he learned from other tourists. He took us to several places and could adjust flexibly to our interests. It was top!

We had a lovely Bandung Braga walking tour with Anam, a young and spirited guide who made the experience truly enjoyable. It was a little mini-moon for me and my husband, and we loved discovering something new together. Anam was friendly, thoughtful, and even gave us a sweet souvenir, which we really appreciated. Great walking tour of Bandung! It was a small group and we got to ask lots of questions and have really interesting, informative conversations about the city and Indonesia. 10/10 would recommend

We have learned a lot during the tour with Anam. He knows a lot about Bandung and Indonesia. He didn’t get tired of answering a lot of random of questions regardless if it’s historical or current events. I also appreciated that we get to see the authentic side of Bandung that I dont think I would see on my own.

We had a great time, it was really nice to hear more about the history of Bandung that is so close related to the Netherlands and to get a better understanding of the city. Anam knew a lot about the city and could answer all our questions! We would really recommend this guruwalk!!

This tour was extremely interesting. Anam's English was as strong as his knowledge of the history of Bandung and Indonesia. No matter what I asked he was able to answer. We visited the Dutch colonial sites, the main market and Braga shopping street. These tours are great for finding out-of-the-way hole-in-the-wall places we would never normally see. Thanks to Anam for an interesting morning!

Anam was a wonderful tour guide. His route is very well curated with great information at each stop. He is very easy to get along with and has a wealth of knowledge of the area. The tour covers most of the major sites in Bandung plus many hidden gems like the local market and a puppetmaker shop. I loved this experience and cannot recommend it enough!
