I enjoyed this tour. It was a good mix of some facts and stories. I knew the story of Burke and Hare but Stuart brought it to life and it was really quite unsettling (in good way). I would recommend.

Calum was absolutely fantastic! Rawie is also the star of the tour, enhances the experience for sure! Learned a lot of fun and interesting stories and calum was always very nice in explaining everything. I recommend this tour to everyone!

I was really very surprised by Joe's spectacular historical education and so were the rest of the group to the point that I suggested him changing the title of his tour to reflect the knowledge and passion he has for Edinburgh and the ability he has to accompany people through a journey in time. I was happy to see that despite us being initially a really small group, he was happy to give us a tour (not all guide do) until another couple joined later. I visit Edinburgh twice a year but I have a completely different look of the town now and I will always remember the tips amd hindsight that Joe generously shared with us. It was a top tour!!

Callum our tour guide and his little Yorkie were fantastic! Unfortunately, we had to leave early towards the end due to a train reservation that could not be changed. We enjoyed everything about this tour!

Alasdair has a knack for storytelling and connecting with people! We started a small group of strangers and 2 hours later, we were like friends. He gave us great recommendations, nice stories and interesting facts about his hometown. Alasdair's walking tour is one you will enjoy and remember for a long time! This tour was fantastic. Rain or shine, Alasdair was energetic, inclusive, and very informative. I had mentioned before the tour started that I was looking forward to doing another based around the ghost stories, and he was more than willing to steer the routes and stories to cater to this since we were fortunate to have such an intimately sized group. The kilt was a great, authentic touch, as well as being read Harry Potter in the Scots language. It was a great way to spend my first day in Scotland on this tour.

Sarah was fantastic and incredibly enthusiastic. She’s an exceptional storyteller — whether it was about people like Brodie or the hidden corners of the city, she knew it all. We were completely captivated by her engaging way of narrating. She also had a wonderful list of must-try spots for everyone, which made the experience even better. And of course, her adorable dog — shivering in the cold yet spreading smiles and cuteness the entire time — was such a delightful addition. Overall, it was a truly memorable experience. A must-do for everyone — we learned so much!

Sarah is a highly entertaining, kind and thoughtful guide. Whilst lighter on history than many guru walks we have done in the past, the anecdotes and stories kept us entertained and informed in spite of the bitter winds… Sarah clearly knows her city and loves it too! Would recommend.
