The tour was amazing! We had an italian guide, I don't really remember her name, but she spoke really interestingly and clearly. Me and my boyfriend really loved all the creepy stories as well as visiting the graveyard. You really see the city of Edinburgh in such a different light after the tour! Would love to recommend to all the visitors.

I might be wrong with her name (I DONT REMEMBER NAMES EASILY) all I can say is she was from Argentina and she was amazing. She might’ve been tired by number of tours she had done earlier in the day but her energy her enthusiasm was fabulous. She wasn’t supposed to do it, she replaced someone and English wasn’t her first language either. I couldn’t imagine doing it in 3 different languages. She was simply amazing

Had tons of fun as the only man in the company of 6 ladies (who would have expected that given the…subject of the tour!) We even visited a dark and locked cemetery at night!!! The best tour in Edinburgh

Grat tour with mix of the history and ghost stories. The best part of the tour was a great yard.

We’ve been on several walking tours before and usually expect the standard facts about architecture and city history. But this tour? It was something else entirely—in the best possible way! Our guide was incredible. I’ll admit I was a bit skeptical about the ghost stories at first, but WOW—he had the hairs standing on the back of my neck more than once! The way he delivered the stories, especially the one about the origin of “saved by the bell,” was absolutely spellbinding. I couldn’t tell if I was horrified or just completely amazed! His deadpan delivery only made the stories more chilling and captivating. You’d never guess, just looking at him, that he was about to unravel some of the most intriguing, eerie tales. He was the perfect storyteller. This was also a real walk—not for the faint of heart! We covered a lot of ground and visited places we completely missed during the day. If you enjoy seeing the city in a different light (literally), and you’re up for a good walk paired with spine-tingling stories, this is the tour for you. We absolutely loved it!

The tour lasted a little longer than I expected, but I didn't mind as the history and creepy stories of Edinburgh were very interesting. The guide was very friendly and answered the questions the group had.

Very fun and we visited a Cemetary that was very cool.

It was very good to learn about the legends and the unofficial stories behind the city and the history.

The guide was good and had a good knowledge. But I was expecting something different in relation to the title of the tour..more frightful stories, more content. And the weather was awful , cold, windy. The guide had to make a lot of efforts just to be heard. I would give it another chance in different surrounding conditions still.

They won't run a tour without minimum numbers, but were very helpful in offering other options when they canceled.

Tour was excellent BUT it felt more like a history lesson with a sprinkle of dark history rather than a ghost tour. We really liked the format and everything we learned- informative, engaging and fun. Lou was really nice and knowledge. I will say we expected the tour to last about an hour and a half- starting at 8 and ending at 9:30. We did not finish until 10:30(I received an email at 930 asking how I enjoyed the tour😂). Overall great experience but wish we would have known it was going to be longer than expected.
