One of the best things about Amsterdam is how ‘gezellig’ people are – how people try to make every social situation, even with strangers, as friendly and convivial as possible. I'm annoyed I can't remember the name of our guru because he deserves all the praises! We have done plenty of walking tours around Europe on our travels and this one was, by far, our favorite we have done! Our tour guide was hilarious, gave incredible knowledge about De Wallen that I wouldn't have known unless we came on the tour, showed us a variety of interesting locations and delved into the history of Amsterdam in such an expert way. Don't go on this tour if you just want to see the lovely ladies of De Wallen - this is an incredibly informative experience which is 70% of incredible detail, history and knowledge!
