One of the best things about Amsterdam is how ‘gezellig’ people are – how people try to make every social situation, even with strangers, as friendly and convivial as possible. We do that in all our tours, even with tours with such difficult stories as the Holocaust. The tour was really engaging and full of fun facts. Although I’ve been on many free walking tours before, it had never happened to me that a minimum payment of €10 per person was requested. I understand that it’s nice to contribute, but since it’s called a free walking tour, I wasn’t expecting payment to be mandatory at a particular minimum amount.
