Enthusiastic in travel and story telling, I have been working as a licensed tour guide for past 7 years in Kathmandu. I pursued my academic Master’s degree from Nepal in Nepalese History, Culture and Archaeology to use it in my tours.
I believe in providing local authentic experiences to my guests with in-depth knowledge about religion, culture, art and architecture of Kathmandu valley. Besides this, I work as an independent trekking guide as well.

Ganesh's tour of Pashupatinath Temple was incredible! He spoke passionately and knowledgeably about the history of both the temple and Hinduism. He ensured that we met some local ascetics and took photos and videos of me while they blessed me. Then he made sure that we had incredible seats for the pooja at sunset: he explained everything that was going on during the celebration and answered all of my questions. Finally he was very respectful and happy to help me learn more about the cremations. Ganesh was very professional and full of enthusiasm to share such a special place with me. Would very much recommend a tour with Ganesh: I will be looking to book him again before I go home.
I highly recommend Ganesh. The tour was very informative. We asked a lot of questions and he managed to answer all of it and give a perspective on a completely different culture!
The guy didn't turn up, nor informed about his absence. We had to find some guys to call him and they talked a bit on the phone and another guy who was there showed us around who had probably nothing to do with the original guide
