Hi, I'm Giorgi a resident of Georgia, born and grew up in the eastern part of Georgia, known as Kakheti, the cradle of wine. From 2011 I live in Tbilisi. I have graduated from Ilia State University, school of business BBA in tourism and hospitality management. I have worked in the tourism industry since 2013, with professional guiding experience since 2019. I love sports, I played Rugby in university. I'm a big fan of UFC. I like traveling with my friends. I'm English speaker. I do love meeting new people and sharing our cultures. I will be happy to host you in Georgia and at the end of the tour, I hope you will gain a Georgian friend on my face. Come and experience Georgia!
I enjoyed the tour and his personal efforts were noticed and appreciated.
Great tour, very informative, friendly atmosphere, felt like going for a walk with a local friend.
We came for a short trip of just under four days, really three and a half days and four nights, to Tbilisi for a birthday. It was honestly by luck that we managed to get on Giorgi’s tour on our very first morning. We arrived really late on Friday night, basically in the middle of the night, booked the tour then, and met him at 11am outside Rustaveli Metro Station which was a super easy meeting point. Giorgi literally made us fall in love with Tbilisi. We genuinely cannot wait to come back. I always feel that however much you love travelling, there is always this period of acclimatisation when you first arrive somewhere and it can really make or break a place. You either fall in love with it and connect with it straight away or you just never really do. And honestly, we connected with Tbilisi instantly because of Giorgi. He is super professional but at the same time he feels like someone who could genuinely just be your buddy. He is personally a really interesting person, really friendly, really genuine, and just the kind of person you instantly feel comfortable around. He is originally from East Georgia I believe, more of a country boy, but he has been living in Tbilisi for at least 15 years. He is clearly someone who is very bright and very curious and he really makes it his business to know absolutely everything. He is an absolute mine of information. If there is anything you want to know about Georgia, Georgian culture, the different people that make up Georgia, the food, local life, the countryside versus Tbilisi, or Tbilisi itself, he knows it like the palm of his hand. He genuinely seems to have experienced pretty much everything the city has to offer. What makes the tour so special is the way he talks. It honestly just feels like having a fascinating conversation with someone who loves his city and loves sharing it with people. You never feel like you are being lectured for three hours by some boring guide. It is so entertaining and natural and funny and engaging that the whole thing just flies by. We came on a day where the weather was looking a bit questionable at first although it actually turned out very hot in the end. There had been a cancellation but he still took our tour which ended up being just me and my husband. Honestly, it was the best tour I have ever been on. We walked a lot and it was a very extensive three hour tour but we did not even take a break because we were so engaged the whole time. It was just so interesting and genuinely so much fun. And now that we have spent a few more days in Tbilisi, we realise how much he actually managed to fit into those three hours. He really took us everywhere we needed to see and gave us the absolute perfect introduction to the city. It was honestly one of the highlights of our trip and it completely made us fall in love with Tbilisi. I genuinely cannot recommend Giorgi enough. We would not even hesitate to go on another tour with him if he ever starts doing different areas or nighttime tours because we would absolutely do that too. Honestly, if you go to Tbilisi and do not go on Giorgi’s tour, you should probably have serious FOMO. It is that good. Really amazing guy. Really amazing experience. We absolutely loved him. Thank you so much Giorgi and we will definitely be recommending you to everyone we know. I honestly do not think you can go to Tbilisi without first going on Giorgi’s tour.
Sehr informative und unterhaltsam. Super Guide! 100% zu empfehlen
