I'm Mirco, I'm currently living in Amsterdam and I have an addiction: travelling.
Several times I have asked myself and searched for answers to the question: why do I travel?
My feeling about traveling has evolved over time and has increasingly fueled my desire to discover new things but most of all to fill my eyes with colors, with the new hues that life can have. These can be related to a multitude of factors such as the culture of the place, religion, traditions, ideological, social and cultural contaminations, the sound of a language, flavors, smells, even the
weather aspect that can affect the lifestyle and, last in the list but certainly not in importance, the fact that there are so many people everywhere and they are different from each other, each with their own palette of colors that they express through behaviors, thoughts, reflections, ways of dressing and more generally of approaching life.
So far I have been lucky to explore various European countries as a tourist but I also lived for a month and an half in Dublin and six months in Aachen, Germany.
However, the trip that changed my perception of things was definitely that one to Asia.
I started from Kuala Lumpur and Melaka in Malaysia and already the impact was strong and electrifying. So I decided to expand my solo backpacking trip to Singapore, Bangkok, and Indonesia as well. I met a lot of people since I was trying to talk to as many people as possible driven by curiosity, and my mind began to think differently than before.
Since I arrived in Amsterdam, I began to fall in love with this city that I had already seen as a tourist but I can assure you that living here is even better. After spending a good part of the winter studying, I thus decided to start a city tour with the idea of expanding it to more areas next summer.
One of my best free tour. My first one on a bike and I loved it ! I highly recommand,
Mirco es un guía con muy buena disposición y atento. Se nota que le ha puesto mucho empeño en conocer bien la ciudad y así poder dar mucha información interesante. Además, el paseo en bici por Amsterdam es una experiencia imprescindible. Grazie Mirco!
Mirco is able to pass you both his curiosity and his knowledge. Bravissimo!!!
Mirco is super friendly! We end up having a small 2 people’s tour and that gave us freedom to stop for a snack, record some videos beside the canals. He took us to places we wouldn’t go by our own and explained interesting facts about the city history. It felt like a bike ride with friends!
