Hello! My name is Malik, and I am a professional, licensed tour guide with deep roots in Sarajevo. I have been guiding since 2007, bringing nearly two decades of expert knowledge and storytelling to every walk. In March 2026, I officially launched my own independent business, “Makaš Malik turistički vodič,” to share Sarajevo in a more personal and immersive way.
With 21 years in the hospitality industry—including 17 as a hotel manager—I know what makes a guest’s experience truly exceptional. I specialize in the history and architecture of the Ottoman and Austro-Hungarian periods, with a special focus on the 16th- and 19th-century sites that shaped Sarajevo.
