I'm Egas Manganhe, tourist guide from Maputo City. I love telling stories about my city, culture and traditions. I am passionate about the colonial architecture and its history which is still in evidence in Maputo.
This was by far, the best walking tour I have done worldwide! Egas was friendly, fun and incredibly knowledgeable. His English is brilliant. We visited all the relevant places and even if they were closed he was happy to share all the information. He waited for our group at multiple stops with a smile on his face and even went out of his way to find the best cashews at the market! His friend came along the tour and always stayed at the back to make sure we were safe. Highly highly recommend Egas - book without hesitation!
