Hi, I’m Robert!
Born and raised in Hungary, with a side quest in Canada (where I picked up the fine art of saying "eh" and apologizing unnecessarily-sorry), I'm a dual citizen; fluent in both Hungarian and English. Having lived most of my life in Budapest, I know this city like the back of my hand, but my time in Canada gave me a fresh appreciation for different cultures and perspectives.
I’m a passionate history buff, always digging into the fascinating stories behind Budapest’s iconic landmarks. Whether it’s ancient tales of kings and empires, legendary battles, royal drama or quirky local legends, I love bringing the city’s past to life. I believe every street has its story.
When I’m not immersed in history, I’m probably watching a movie(or quoting one) searching for a new film to add to my list—I’m a big movie fan and think Budapest has a deep cinematic history and flair.
And let’s not forget food! I'm always on the lookout for the best local eats, so expect a few food tips along the way (I may even sneak in a snack myself).

Robert was excellent. He provided a well rounded introduction to the city of Budapest and its history. He was very engaging, adding in personal stories of his, and connected well with everyone in the group. We highly recommend this tour to others!
Robert was warm and engaging right from the start. Group was larger than expected but this was absolutely no problem... Could hear him perfectly and ask questions if we wanted to. Information and anecdotes were perfectly mixed along the way. He took photos if you wanted them and even a group photo along the way. A must do if in Budapest in our opinion. Thanks Robert
