Hi, I’m Robert!
Born and raised in Hungary, with a side quest in Canada (where I picked up the fine art of saying "eh" and apologizing unnecessarily-sorry), I'm a dual citizen; fluent in both Hungarian and English. Having lived most of my life in Budapest, I know this city like the back of my hand, but my time in Canada gave me a fresh appreciation for different cultures and perspectives.
I’m a passionate history buff, always digging into the fascinating stories behind Budapest’s iconic landmarks. Whether it’s ancient tales of kings and empires, legendary battles, royal drama or quirky local legends, I love bringing the city’s past to life. I believe every street has its story.
When I’m not immersed in history, I’m probably watching a movie(or quoting one) searching for a new film to add to my list—I’m a big movie fan and think Budapest has a deep cinematic history and flair.
And let’s not forget food! I'm always on the lookout for the best local eats, so expect a few food tips along the way (I may even sneak in a snack myself).

We had a fantastic experience on Robert’s free walking tour in Budapest! Wir haben beschlossen, den Tag mit Roberts Tour zu beginnen und es war die beste Entscheidung des Tages. Robert hat uns auf der spannenden Tour mit so vielen zusätzlichen Tips und Empfehlungen versorgt, dass wir den ganzen restlichen Tag gut in Budapest verbringen konnten und immer eine Idee hatten, wo wir als nächstes hin wollten. Auch die Essensempfehlungen waren klasse! Wer noch keine Freunde in Ungarn hat, sollte auf jeden Fall mit ihm unterwegs sein - Robert wird dein erster.
