Namaste! My name is Milan and I am from the eastern part of Nepal. I studied in Kathmandu and have long time experience working in tourism sector in different roles, and also had opportunity to explore bit of country as well.
There is so much to see, feel, taste, explore, learn and understand in our small Himalayan country, which makes me very curious about so-so many things, keeping me motivated to learn different aspects of complex structure of our own lifestyles, culture, and philosophy. Meeting people from around the world and sharing & learning ideas, knowledge, and bizarre thoughts are things that I like most about what I do. I hope to convey facts and stories, to best of my knowledge and provide insights into the historical, natural & cultural beauty of Archaic Nepal ♥
Best guide to get a sense of religion in Nepal!
Our tour with Milan was really great. We ended up having basically a private 3-hour tour as there was only 2 of us. The tour & information Milan provided combined with the museum's excellent galleries was a very good introduction to recognise the Hindu and Buddhist influences on Nepali art and architecture. Milan answered all our questions with patience. I would recommend this tour at the beginning of your Nepal visit as it really helps to understand a bit better what it is you're looking at when you visit the thousands of temples and shrines around Nepal.

A very interesting tour that teaches you a lot about Hinduism and Buddhism. The tour guide Milan is very friendly and has a lot of knowledge about these Hinduism and Buddhism :)
