A person who recently found out that showing her city to the others is so much fun! I love languages e to learn about new cultures.
This tour was one of the highlights of our time in Rio! It was incredibly enlightening and thoughtful, and our guide was clearly extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the city’s history and culture. As a literature lover, I especially appreciated that the tour begins at the Brazilian Academy of Letters. The stories and perspectives shared throughout the walk made me fall in love with Rio even more. I also loved that, although the tour focuses on women’s history and experiences, it is truly open to everyone (my boyfriend joined too and found it just as interesting and enriching as I did). Highly recommended to anyone wanting to discover a deeper, more human side of Rio!
Jessica was a great guide! Knowledgeable, forthcoming and a great story teller. I am glad to have learned more about Brazilian history. P.S. I have given the tour five stars for entertainment. It is not 'entertaining' in the fun sense, but it is highly informative and very interesting.

Este tour me sorprendió particularmente por la importancia de nombrar y construir memoria sobre mujeres que han sido parte fundamental de la historia y que hoy han sido invisibilizadas. La voz de Jessica es una bocanada de aire fresco, particularmente en los tiempos tan polarizantes en que vivimos. Este tour es imprescindible.
Jessica's tour was interesting and informative. We learned about several fascinating and trail blazing women from Rio who were unsung heros of their time. It was also interesting to visit various parts of downtown Rio. Jessica was knowledgeable and professional as a tour guide able to talk with clarity and in detail about the women using pictures as visual aids as well. Would recommend this tour.
