This tour ended up being one of the highlights of my trip! Pedro is a local from La Boca, and the love for his community and pride in sharing its history is readily evident I learned much more from his tour than I would have from a tour company. He was even so kind to wait with me for my uber after, as we ended when it was dark out. Wonderful guide and tour!
Brilliant walking tour. Pedro showed us the La Boca outside of the touristy area. So glad I took this tour and heard all about how people live round here and how passionate Pedro is. He knows everyone! It was a highlight for me of my time in Buenos Aires. Plus he is very funny.
This us a tour for Travellers not Tourists. If you want to see only the restaurants and shops of Boca, you should find another tour. On this tour, Pedro takes you through the backstreets and former factories to explain the history, street art, football and fabric of the community. During the tour Pedro must have greeted and hugged over 30 neighbors which shows his deep roots and knowledge of the community … if there was a Mayor of La Boca, it should be Pedro !
