Absolutely can recommend Hazel's tour! It's a great mix of walking, talking and eating, we went to the market, that we probably wouldn't have visited by ourselves. And we tried interesting foods and learned a lot of about the Philippines, the people and the culture!
We really enjoyed our walk with Hazel. She spent some time at the start to go over what we wanted to see and tailored the experience to our requests. As we were more interested in food and street life, We spent the tour visiting the carbon market, Pasil, Puso village and finishing up at the House Of Lechon for lunch. We got around mostly by walking but also caught an e-bike and a jeepney ride. Hazel has full of interesting information and our time together just flew by. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
Clear communication before the tour starts, Hazel was full of knowledge and background informations- not for sites but for Food ( as described). Many stops with new flavours each. Due to the small group (3) very individual. Excellent last stop at House of Lechon. Thank you Hazel :-)
I loved the food tour, we tried so many different things that I wouldn’t have tried on my own, the highlight for me was the pork brain, yumm! Hazel was lovely and we had a great time with her, she explained so much about her culture and made sure everything was top notch for us!
