Hi! I’m Mauricio, and I’ve been living in Tromsø for over 9 years. I have a background in Tourism and I’m a certified tour guide, but more importantly, I’m someone who genuinely enjoys sharing places and stories with people. Over the years, I’ve worked as a guide with different companies, gaining deep knowledge of Tromsø — its history, culture, and what everyday life is really like above the Arctic Circle. After experiencing free walking tours around the world, I realized something was missing here. That’s why in September 2023, I launched the first free walking tour in Tromsø. This tour is not just about the main sights — it’s about understanding the city, discovering hidden stories, and seeing Tromsø through the eyes of someone who truly lives here.
