Irvin fesselte durch Geschichten die weit über eine Stadtführung hinaus gingen. Indem er zB von den Schwur Jungfrauen erzählte. Oder von den Haar Vorschriften im Kommunismus sprach. Er schilderte wie Hoxha seine Paranoia im Bunkerbau auslebte. Mit Irvin habe ich erstmals eine Moschee besucht. - Ich war begeistert als er uns das Skënduli Haus erklärte und deren Besitzerin sich auch noch Zeit für unsere Fragen genommen hatte. - Und er die Story der „hängenden Teddybären“ auflöste.
A well thought through tour delivered expertly by our guide Irvin. It was delivered in a meaningful and passionate manner, with good humour. Irvin obviously has good historical knowledge of his city (country) & was able to answer all our questions. We left with a much better knowledge of Gjirokaster (& Albania) plus the necessary orientation for our stay. Thanks Irvin it was very enjoyable
