Hi, I’m Dominik 👋
I’m originally from Budapest, Hungary and have spent the past years studying and working on 3 continents, but everytime I came back to this beautiful city, I just appreciated more and more, and this became my motivation to show this wonderful capital to as many people as possible.
I’ve always been drawn to stories, history and geography. I will be happy to introduce you to how Hungary works, how people think, and what makes this city unique.
I speak English, French and German and will do my best to offer you an interactive atmosphere where you can ask questions, share impressions, and really connect with the place you’re visiting.
For me, it’s about offering you a glimpse into our culture and history while experiencing Budapest in a personal, curious, and fun way.
An interesting and enjoyable tour exploring the mini statues of Budapest. An opportunity to see the city from a different angle.
We really enjoyed the tour with Dominik. Visiting all the mini statues is an alternative but very informative way to explore Budapest and discover parts of the city that you might otherwise miss. Dominik shared many interesting stories and historical facts, making the tour both engaging and entertaining. We highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a unique perspective on Budapest.
Super tour avec Dominik, guide très sympa et passionné par sa ville ! Parcours très intéressant sur la ville et surtout son histoire. Passage par des lieux et monuments emblématiques, et découverte des mini‑statues de Kolodko — très fun et riche en histoire.
Very interesting tour, Dominik was very knowledgeable and always open to answer new questions. I loved to follow the small statues that was a perfect guideline to explore many aspects of the history and actuality of Budapest.
I had a lot of fun on this tour! Dominik was a great guide - knowledgeable, enthusiastic, sweet, happy to answer questions and take photos! We got to see a lot more of the city than I was expecting, and the route that Dominik took us on was well-planned out. This tour was like a combined city tour and scavenger hunt in one; we were always on the lookout for the tiny bronze statues! This might not be an ideal tour for those people looking for straight-up history; it's more of a city tour laced with the perspective of the artist Mihály Kolodko, who has his own wry view on the city. It was fun learning about him, though. I took this tour on my first day in the city and it was exciting when I continued to spot more sculptures from Mihály Kolodko during the remainder of my stay. We were also pleasantly surprised that the tour included both Buda and Pest. It was really nice to cover both parts of the city. I would definitely recommend this tour for those of you who are looking for a friendly guide and more of an unconventional city tour! Thank you, Dominik!
