Hi, my name is Ana.
I am a historian, art restorer, and recently a tour guide. During my time at collegue I wrote books about Dalmatia and Split. I also did the restoration on renowned landmarks of Split - Statue of Grgur Ninski, Diocletian's mausoleum, portal of palace Augubio etc.
I recently got a tour guide license and would be very happy to share my knowledge with the people visiting my hometown.
Ana was fantastic! She is so knowledgeable and kind. We had 3 younger kids who were batty from the long day of travel, tired, and in their own chaotic world. But my husband and I were so interested in learning about the city and grateful Ana was patient and held the tour for us. It was one hour 15 min but she could have adapted if we needed something different. It was perfect. She taught us so much in a short time, and this was our first Guru walk. I'd highly recommend doing this in Split especially on the first day or soon after arrival so you can appreciate the history of the unique city and know more about Croatia in general. Thank you Ana!!
Ana is very easygoing and funny and at the same time is provides a lot of knowledge of the history of Split.
Ana ist eine unglaublich herzliche und humorvolle Person, die uns mit viel Leidenschaft durch versteckte Orte geführt hat, die wir sonst nie entdeckt hätten. Besonders schön war, wie sie ihre eigenen Erfahrungen als Historikerin und spannende kleine Geschichten in die Tour eingebaut hat. Alles war wunderbar durchdacht und hatte einen tollen roten Faden. Auch der Support und die Kontaktmöglichkeiten waren super hilfreich. Eine absolut empfehlenswerte Tour!
