Stavros was excellent! Took a huge group of over 30 people on a pretty comprehensive walking tour of Athens, even extending the tour a little to show us the Panathenaic stadium. Being Greek American, he was easy to understand and told engaging stories about the history of Greece through the ruins, which we retained through our trip. He was helpful in giving us tips to go back to a monument at a later time. The walking tour literally takes you everywhere through Monastiriki, Plaka the National Park...all of the high points. He worked hard to make this an engaging tour for everyone which I appreciated. Don't forget to tip these guides!
This walk was an excellent way to see the main interests of Athens and to learn about the history of the monuments. I highly recommend this tour.
