We had great tour with Sandra. She showed us the highlights of Kigali including the Kigali Genocide Memorial, the Belgian Peacekeepers Memorial and the Kimironko Market. But our highlight was our walk around Nyamirambo, sampling some local food and visiting the Women’s Centre.

I had a great time discovering Kigali along Grace's side. Keep in mind you'll have to take some boda-bodas , but if you've been to other African capitals, know that Kigali's driving felt a bit safer. The walk and conversation with Grace felt very natural. She was also very helpful in finding gifts and souvenirs at the local market. I would highly recommend having Grace assist you during your visit to Kigali.

Sandra was the ideal guide to help me get to know Kigali. There was even time for a coffee. I was speechless when I visited the Genocide Memorial. The thought that this genocide took place just 32 years ago gave me shivers, even though it was very hot outside! Never again! Fortunately, I was on my own, which meant I was given lots of information. Part 2 tomorrow. Definitely highly recommended. A perfect guide.

Sandra is the kindest of the persons and will be a great company for a roam around Kigali For sure, she is still paving her way into a more compete tour in terms of info and to approach the level of detail that many of her guests are looking for. You will want to take a guide with you to some of the locations you visit. Sandra is that guide, she is calm in high pressured market situations, knows the locations, cultures and tries her upmost to ensure everything is being enjoyed.

Although you do quite a bit of walking, you do have to take a moto taxi a couple of times. But the tour is excellent.
