Very fascinating tour that unlocked a deeper understanding of Japanese culture for me. Some challenging content but very well and considerately presented. Ada did a great job at connecting what was in front of us with spiritual practices and stories, history as well as aspects of modern culture.

Muchas gracias!

Kyoto Invisible: Forbidden Tales, Mysteries & Hidden gems

Our guide was knowledgeable and informal, funny. This tour didn’t give the typical background info but more the “special” stories. She showed us some special places and was open for questions.

Ada was fantastic! Her passion for Japan, its culture, and its history really shines through. It was an absolute pleasure to learn from her and benefit from her extensive knowledge of Japanese culture and history. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to gain a deeper understanding of Japan and its fascinating history.

Nice tour, out of the mainstream spots of Gion. Very informative on local culture and Kyoto's history and heritage.

Kyoto Invisible: Forbidden Tales, Mysteries & Hidden gems

Kyoto Invisible: Forbidden Tales, Mysteries & Hidden gems

What a fascinating tour! Heard haunting stories of the Emperors, Geiko, Samurai, Gods, Demons, and the layered complexity of Kyoto's history. It made my experience of the city even richer! Would highly recommend this walk with Ada to see a different side to Kyoto that you probably won't be able to read/hear about anywhere else.
