An exceptional guide. He brings the history of Malaga to life as if we were there. We didn't notice the time passing. The evening tour has an added charm! By far the best tour we've ever been on.

We didn't know what to expect, but Jon explained the history of Malaga in a wonderful way that's easy to understand. He was witty, funny and went over and above answering our questions outside of the tour as well. I would strongly recommend this tour to anyone interested in knowing a bit more about the place beyond just taking selfies in front of building.

I suggest this tour lika a starter for to explore more places in Malaga. Interesting moments of history connected with nowadays. And, of course, Jon was wery attractive and kept my attention till the end of the tour.

Michaelangelo was full of fascinating information and so passionate with his love of Malaga. His story telling of little known facts and hidden secrets was beautifully delivered. His top tip (if you go to the Picasso Museum) was to ensure you go through the glass doors at the ground level, down the stairs into the underground of the Picasso Museum for a little known surprise was brilliant. A must not to be missed! Thank you

We booked this walking tour with John for the evening we arrived in Málaga, and it was the best decision we could have made. Our goal was to get our bearings in the city and learn some of the history right away, but John went above and beyond that. Not only did he help us navigate and understand the layout of Málaga, he shared fascinating history we had no idea even existed here. His way of explaining brought the city to life and gave us a completely different perspective than if we had just wandered on our own. If you’re visiting Málaga, I can’t recommend enough doing this tour on your first evening. It sets you up perfectly for the rest of your trip and John was absolutely amazing.

John was entertaining, passionate and clearly enjoyed giving the tour. He was friendly, professional and answered questions well, giving recommendations etc. We visited major sites and some places we wouldn't have found ourselves. Lots of interesting info.

The Guide, the tour, the timing and small group. It was really interesting. Not on internet foundable info, not many but subtile jokes. Was really worth time and who did not join - take your chance ;)

Our tour guide, John, had depth of knowledge and authenticity surpassing that of most other highly rated walking tour guides we have met. John didn't just aim to repeat well known history lessons, some of which the other guide we had for our morning tour was completely clueless on, but instead challenged certain views on culture and history. Highly recommended .

Loved having John as our guide. He was very knowledgeable and we left with a lot of fun facts up our sleeves. I thought the tour was very well thought out and it actually ended up lasting about 2 hours. John actually stayed behind with us afterwards and gave us a lot of great recommendations for the rest of our visit. Would definitely recommend it.

This tour was very entertaining. Historical facts were delivered around a foundation of various stories and anecdotes , which make them easier to remember. The guide ,Jon , was pleasant , informative and funny. We saw several of the important sites in the old town . All in all a very enjoyable experience. My only suggestion was that a brief timeline of the history of the city would be a good start so that those of us who don’t know it can situate the various stories. Thanks so much
