An absolutely fantastic walking tour! Alexander, despite being very young, was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and passionate about the city and its history. He showed us details, hidden spots, and interesting aspects that we would never have noticed or understood on our own, making the whole experience much more engaging and memorable. He was also extremely kind and flexible, always willing to stop whenever we wanted to browse shops or make small purchases. You could really tell how much he enjoys what he does, and that made the tour even more special. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic, informative, and enjoyable experience! Alex es un guía estupendo y local de Transnistria. El tour terminó siendo privado en un auto antiguo y de todo el día. Lleno de detalles, historias y anécdotas. Tranquilamente Tiraspol podría tener si propio tour pero sumamos dos ciudades más y paseo en un ferry soviético. En resumen, un guía genial y un tour imprescindible para aquellos que quieran llevarse la verdadera historia soviética.

Alexander is an amazing young guide! He is very professional and knows a lot of interesting facts about local history and the way of living! He picked us up at the bus station and we walked around all the interesting spots (not just the main ones). i would 100% recommend him!

My tour with Alexander was a highlight of my visit to Tiraspol. He is very knowledgable about his city, and honest about its complicated history up to the present day. I got to experience some daily life too by visiting some shops, the kvass machine, and more. At the moment Alexander is the only Guru guide in Tiraspol, so don’t miss this unique opportunity.

We enjoyed Alexander’s tour so much! He is a young, professional and passionate guide. Before we arrived he asked us if we would like to watch a football match. He went to pick us up at the bus station, took good care of us, told us about the stories and brought us to off the beaten track. He answered all questions, shared his perspective and insights. Our stay would not have been the same without him.

Alexander was a wonderful tour guide, and took me around Tiraspol to show me a little bit of the city and what tourists liked seeing, alongside some more interesting shops and restaurants! We were even able to catch an FC Sheriff game, as they had been playing on the day, and he was able to answer all of my questions regarding the city, the history, and in getting there and getting back to Chisinau from Tiraspol. I thoroughly enjoyed this tour, and would definitely both recommend it and do it again!

Alexander is a grat guide! He showed us a lot of places, answered hundred of questions and did a great job on sharing the history of Tiraspol and Pridnestrovie. Not only we have visited most popular places, but also some more casual and less known spots. I would totally do it again - 10/10.

I had the absolute pleasure of spending 7 hours in Tiraspol with Alexander, and I can confidently say he is the best guide I have ever had in Europe. I have visited more than 50 countries across Europe and taken many free walking tours, but Alexander stands out far above the rest. His tour was not just a standard sightseeing walk—it was a deep, authentic experience of Transnistria. Alexander didn’t limit the visit to the typical tourist landmarks of Tiraspol. Instead, he drove us through the city and showed us both the touristic highlights and the real everyday life of Pridnestrovie. We explored neighborhoods, local areas that visitors rarely see, and gained genuine insight into the culture, history, and current reality of this unique place. What makes Alexander exceptional is his knowledge, honesty, and ability to explain the complex history and political situation of Transnistria in a balanced and fascinating way. Every stop felt meaningful, and every conversation added context to what we were seeing. More importantly, he made the experience feel human and personal, not scripted. By the end of the day, it felt less like a tour and more like being shown around by a knowledgeable local friend who truly cares about helping visitors understand his home. To the point that we ended up having dinner together with him and the whole tour. If you are visiting Transnistria / Pridnistrovia, I cannot recommend Alexander strongly enough. His tour of Tiraspol was unforgettable and easily the best guided experience I’ve had in Europe. Do not visit Transnistria without touring it with him.

Alexander è un ragazzo molto giovane ma questo non ha inficiato nella qualità del tour, anzi! Alexander è appassionato di storia e sarà contento di rispondere alla vostre domande quindi fatene più possibili. Il tour però non è solo storia ma anche un giro al supermercato assieme e tante curiosità! Unico problema sono state le tempistiche, il tour è durato un po' più del previsto ma anche per nostra colpa dato che ci siamo persi a fare tante cose, Alexander però è stato super disponibile anche nell'aiutarci ad organizzare le nostre attività

Incredible tour! Incredible person! The city was interesting, but the guru was even cooler) Alexander is the guy who won't let u be bored. I can recommend that this guy does his job perfectly :)

Incredible day with a small group. Alexander went above and beyond, showing us the real Tiraspol, more than just the monuments that tourists go to. He’s very smart and able to provide really interesting information about the history of Pridnestrovie and everything the region is going through currently. I highly recommend this tour, it is so much better than any of the expensive tours on other websites.
