Really nice and interesting tour. Moh’d has a lot of knowledge and told me lots of interesting information and facts about the history, culture and architecture of Stone Town and Zanzibar. We walked around old town and saw a lot of sites. Really happy that I took this tour and that I learned more about this interesting place! I feel like I’ve really seen Stone Town now, and would definitely recommend it to others!

Really interesting to learn about the history of Zanzibar. Our guide was very knowledgeable and answered our many questions. It was a great way to see stone town, we thoroughly enjoyed it

Mohamed is a very knowledgable, professional guide, who lead zs through a stone town tour including all relevant sights.we also get away from the usual crowd to more local streets if the quarter . The tour was very well structured regarding historical facts, local habits, cultural and religigious information, all given at a spot, where you can immediate relate. Stonetown can be quite the labyrinth to explore on your own. On this tour, I was able to explore the main sights and get familiar with the place. Mohamed offered to let me visit the Old Slave Market museum and waited for me patiently before continuing the visit. Thanks to his walking tour I was able to get a good idea of the town in order to explore in depth later, on my own.

Had a tour with Mohammed, perfect to have an idea of the history of Stone Town.
Mohammed is a kind person. Slightly reserved for a tour guide.
Part of the tour happen in the slaves museum where we had to pay 5$ entrance fees (we could choose whether to go inside or not)
The tour guide had a few phone call during the tour as well as a private pit stop at the market.
At the end of the tour which is tip based, the situation got a little akward. Mohammed didn't expect to get less than the __recommended__ price. After a discussion about what is a __free__ walking tour and the fact that it wasn't quite what we were looking for
, I ended up doubling my initial tip to find common ground and leave on good terms.
