Juan was super friendly (with great English) and informative; a great overview of Valencian history and way to get orientated in the centre. Really appreciate all the recommendations too.

Juanjo not only knows Valencia's history, but he also tells it with enthusiasm and humor. Each stop becomes a small play that captures the attention; the group was small, which allowed for more personal interaction. The guide answered questions, recommended places to eat, and even shared local legends.

The tour wasn't just focused on the Roman history of Valencia, but took us from its Roman founding, all the way to the 19th century. Juan Jose is an architect, so I enjoyed learning about Valencian Gothic, the city's own architectural style; as well as Baroque, French Gothic, Romanesque and much more. As a group, we ended up having drinks and tapas until after midnight.

We absolutely loved our tour with Juanjo. He is very savvy about València and shares his knowledge about the cities architecture and history with a passion that is infectious. Loved the chance to have pinxtos and a beer after the tour! Thank you!

It is said to be free but the app asks for money; Even though it’s a walking tour, we recommend a contribution of €15–€25 approximately per person at the end of the tour. Thank you!

We were lucky and got a private tour because there wasn’t other people when we did this walking tour. Our guide Juan had great English and the tour was really informative and nice. We had a pintox and cafe break and in the end we had refreshing beers. Great walking tour!

Even though in the announcement it was mentioned “FREE Tapas”, we had to pay for what we ate. I can not comment about the beers because we refused to have it at the end of the tour.

Fun and entertaining way to learn history and enjoy the cuisine of the city. Juan was passionate about architecture and showed us aspects I had not seen before. He introduced us to new tapas and beverages and was very charming. Juan was highly professional. Another guide ghosted her group, so with consent of all, he scooped them up and we had the best time together even though he had to work harder & switch between languages sometimes so we could all enjoy his comments.

An interesting tour. The guide was great and it was nice to stop for Tapas and a beer at the end of the tour. Would recommend.

Juan was a great and energetic guide and we enjoyed the experience! That said, as I mentioned to Juan, the name of the tour is a bit misleading. We were expecting a proper “food tour,” but we only got to try a few pinchos at a random spot in central Valencia. We didn’t really learn about tapas or beers in general, as the tour title suggested.
