Anant is a very friendly guide! He takes you to the most delicious food places, and tells fun facts about the city. Besides food, you visit some other shops, but it is very relaxed. To top off, you get to listen to some music! It was a great experience. Definitely would recommend

Anant is a great guide with a lot of knowledge and he is really friendly! I did the streetfood tour, which was nice but not really what I expected. He did bring me to a variety of very nice food stalls, so that was really great. But he only explained about the food (which ingredients, how to make, when to eat, etc) if I asked it. And besides taking me to the food stalls, he took me inside (his friends') shops for silk, instruments and perfumes where I felt almost obligated to buy something. This should not be part of a food tour, unless maybe on request. He also took me to other places to explain for example about religion and other things. Very friendly, but again, not in a food tour unless requested. When I told him that this was how I felt, he said that it is otherwise difficult to fill 2,5 hours. So I recommended to do 1,5 then or explain more about the food. So all in all he is a very nice guide, if you're looking for a diverse tour with some tastings, I'd recommend it!

Great tour, Anant is a super guide and very knowledgeable about Varanasi and gave us lots of interesting info on the Hindu religion and traditions

I was lucky enough to have Anant all to myself on this tour which was wonderful. I thought it would just be food, but he gave me so much information about the city, and managed to take me to new places that another guide hadn’t done. I had classical music, great food, local crafts, and overall great company. Thank you Anant for looking after me and being such a great guide!

Visiting Varanasi is a profound experience, but having the right guide makes all the difference. Mr anant was not only knowledgeable but also deeply passionate about the city’s history, culture, and spiritual significance. From navigating the labyrinthine alleys of the old city to explaining the rituals along the ghats, they ensured we truly connected with Varanasi’s essence.

Very informative and clearly has a wealth of knowledge on a variety of topics from the city, religion, food and culture. I would strongly suggest this tour to anyone! He really did go above and beyond to help us feel comfortable and end our day on high note at the evening ceremony.

The walk with Anant was really nice, he showed us great places especially some that you would not easily find out about on your own. The food we had was amazing and it was very helpful to learn where it’s best to eat. The pace seems a bit high still getting used to the hustle and bustle of the city but he always kept a good eye on us when we did not keep up. All in all an amazing experience and we would recommend for anyone who is in to eating (so basically everyone)!!

We had a food street tour with anant, he showed us the tipical indian plates and the one from Varanasi. It was amazing to try different things that without his guide we would never had. Take this tour with empty stomach and a big open mind, you'll try all the best indian street food as a local one. We will never forget this esperience!

We really enjoyed this tour! The food was very good and the guide explained a lot about the culture here in Varanasi. Would recommend this! You also will visit some souvenir shops, we are not really in to it, but he will visit good quality places.

The walk with Mr. Ananth was a great experience and he was very accommodative. Got to experience the place, food and culture. He also helped me cover few things that were pending I my list and guided further. Few of things he showed would not be known by tourists and not widely covered in social media. Very interesting and informative hours spent with the guide.
