As people who have taken countless walking tours including many on Jewish history and World War II, we can’t recommend this tour highly enough. It was, without a doubt, the best tour we’ve ever been on. Clemens explained the history of Vienna’s Jewish community and the Nazi era in a way that was incredibly clear, engaging, and easy to follow. We learned so much, and he kept us completely interested for the entire two hours with his energy, knowledge, and storytelling. He is not only an outstanding guide but also kind, passionate, and genuinely dedicated to helping people understand this important history. We’ve never had a guide explain such complex topics so clearly and thoughtfully. If you’re visiting Vienna, this tour is an absolute must. It was the best tour and Clemens the best tour guide we’ve ever had. We couldn’t recommend it more highly!!!

Wolfgang explains four different eras of Jewish life in Vienna. I learned so much and appreciated the way he structured the information and aligned it with the sites, streets and monuments we visited on the walk. Although I haven't done tour #1 yet, this tour #2 is extremely valuable for understanding how Jewish people lived and died in Vienna. He also highlights Jewish contributions, high profile Jews who Hitler knew personally before he decided to scapegoat Jews to gain political power. Very insightful tour and I highly recommend!

This was insightful and informative. The guide Jan was knowledgeable and he did a great job explaining a difficult subject to a diverse group about the subject of the Holocaust in Vienna. You don’t need a private tour if you are lucky enough to get Jan.

Excellent tour

The tour was incredible, and the guide could not have been better. He was knowledgeable, informative, and made everything easy to follow. He had a style that was so engaging that just sort of forced you to want to hang onto every word and hear what he had to say. Although a very difficult subject matter… It was presented in a way that made you feel like you were learning about something that you will always remember.

This was a very informative tour, telling the history of the Jewish community as well as the roll that Austria played in WWII in an unbiased way. We were fortunate enough to have a participant who shared their family story, this made the tour very meaningful. Luke was a fantastic guide providing perspective on a very heavy topic. I think this tour is incredibly important to understand the history in a way that does not shy away from the tragedy but encourages us to remember and to learn from the past.

Excellent tour guide covering a large range of sights, some of which were emotionally sensitive, which Lukasc handled expertly. His instructions were great and he was very knowledgeable.
