This was one of the best walking tours we have ever been on. Lucas was fun and entertaining. He was very knowledgeable and we learnt a lot about this sensitive topic in a way that was understanding and informative without being biased or offensive. Highly recommended by everyone in our group.

Anna gave an excellent tour of the Jewish area in Vienna and provided an exceptionally good overview of Jewish history in Austria! Her English is perfect and she is easy to understand! It’s apparent that she cares about preserving the true historical record of Austria’s role in WWII, its support of Hitler, and the consequences to Jews, gays, abcs people with disabilities. Anna is a very good tour guide! I’d take any tour that she offers!

Great tour! It covers the history of Jewish people who lived in Vienna since medival times through WWII and after. Our tour guide, Ivan, did a great job of walking us through the old streets and plazas of Vienna and telling us lots of historical facts and interesting stories related to Jewish life in Vienna and also all the tragic events related to Holocaust and the controversial role that Austria played in it and how Austrians struggled with this subject for nearly 40 years after the war ended, before finally addressing it publicly. This is a very well thought out tour. It makes you think, it presents you with very dramatic and tragic events that unfortunately occured in the lives of Jewish citizens in this otherwise beautiful city in the past. The tour gives you historical, cultural and political context for the reasons that led to the tragedy of Holocaust in Austria. You see the streets, the buildings, the stones, the monuments, the museums - and the history comes alive! Again, great job by Ivan! I certainly recommend this tour.

Our guide was fantastic. He definitely addressed the crowd of us properly. He was very happy to take questions which he answered very professionally. He was quite humourous sometimes and had a very nice way about him. I would definitely go on another walk with him and highly recommend that anybody coming to Vienna go for a walk with him and guru walks.

Highly recommend this tour! Lucas spoke clearly, in great detail with a satchel of photos which perfectly complimented the information. We stopped many times for information sessions and never stood still for more than 5 minutes (something I have struggled with in past tours). He had a pleasant manner and every piece of information shared was captivating! Best tour I’ve ever done 👏
