Marie was a fabulous guide. We thoroughly enjoyed the Art Nouveau tour and learned a lot. She easily and thoroughly switched from French to English to ensure everyone in the group was well informed.
Even though the tour is listed as a (in part) English spoken tour, the tour guide barely explained anything in English, it was mostly French. She told the French people that she was ‘forced’ to do the tour in English as well, which made us feel very unwelcome. Based on my experience: if you don’t speak French, don’t take this tour!
If you're interested at all in history of Art Nouveau, then you can't miss this tour; a wonderful introduction to the men behind the style (which preceded Art deco), the walk took us to various buildings before we ended up in front of the Victor Horta museum itself - again, a must-see!
