I'm Mark from Scotland but I've lived in Baiona, Galicia for over 8 years and have been visiting Galicia since 1994. I'm based in the Old Town at the Vivero de Empresas, La Casa del Reloj in Baiona where I run a business called English Resource Centre (Centro de Recursos de Inglés). I've taken groups on gastronomic tours in the Old Town of Baiona and Vigo,at a cookery school and walking tours on the Portuguese Way (including for Vigo Urban Adventures). I sometimes act as a Guide for groups from Sarria,Tui, Ourense and Baiona to Santiago de Compostela and Muxia on walking-style holidays. I have also filmed all of the Caminos de Santiago in Spain for Camino Ways. I'm also an expert on tourism in Galicia, having written over 1000 pages of content for My Guide Galicia , a leading English speaking travel website as well as other websites like EATourSpecialist. I'm an active Blogger for Galicia Gastro, a group of Galician Bloggers having been a judge at numerous tapas competitions throughout Galicia as well as promoting gastronomic events, winery visits, inaugurations etc.

What's the price?

A guruwalk is a pay-what-you want walking tour, which means, it's completely free to book and join the group, but the 'guru' expects to be rewarded once the tour ends. Some people give 5, some people give 50, you choose the price.

Reservations in advance are mandatory because if the 'guru' doesn't see any bookings one day, she will not show up at the meeting point. Or if she has too many 'walkers' that day, won't allow you to join without the reservation. Booking is completely free, fast and easy. Book your guruwalk now!
