My name is Ruben. I studied psychology and I also completed a master degree in management. I am native from Porto and decided to start as a guide since 2015 because I like to communicate with people and I like to share and create new experences.
On this tour you will have the opportunity to get more knowledge about Porto city, as I will show you the main landmarks and the main streets. We will start our tour on Santa Catarina street, where we will have the opportunity to visit one of the most beautiful cafes of the world and a beautiful chapel with 16000 tiles. Then, I will show you several gastronomic places like a beautiful grocery store with more than 100 years in an Art Nouveau style, a traditional restaurant where you can enjoy the best Francesinha from Porto, the market where you can look around the local sellers, and the hotdogs visited by Anthony Bourdain. We will go back in time to the past centuries, to show you the Cathedral of Porto and its picturesque streets. We will also understand the different architecture styles since the romanic style up to the french influence in St Bento train station. We will visit also the statues, churches and the famous bridges from Eifel and his disciple.
