Tour description

Our meeting point is the door of Casa Osambela in Lima Historic Centre.

Then, we watch many colonial balconies and mansions, different architectures that spaniards brought from Europe. After we visit one of the oldest churches that the city has for watching the skulls of two Saints very famous in Latinoamerica.

Following our route, we got the oldest bridge of Lima to have a panoramic viene of the river and the Rímac municipality. We cross the bridge to visit it and to have the chance to see and if you wish, to eat and drink some of the street food of Lima by night (Anticuchos, Picarones, Emoliente, etc.).

Coming back from Rímac, we visit the Main Square (Plaza de Armas in spanish). At Main Plaza of Lima, you'll watch its buildings, such as the Government Palace, the Cathedral, Lima City Hall and others. And of course a nice spot to watch some of the lights of the city.

After, we will walk through the most famous street of the whole country: Jirón de la Unión, having the chance to see the best chicken dish in all over the world: Pollo a la Brasa (roasted peruvian chicken) and to eat Churros.

On the route to the main peruvian Highlight by night, we pass by the National Stadium, the main sport coliseum of the whole country.

Finally, we arrive to the Water Fountains Park, the main highlight of Perú by night to enjoy the show of music, lights and láser that these marvelous fountains can offer us. A time ago, the Biggest Complex of Water Fountains in the world according the Récord Guinness Book.

We reserved the English tour and after Alfredo arrived he knew we reserved the English tour but he told me he couldn’t do it because he was booked for a Spanish tour. He knew we asked for the English walking tour but didn’t let us know before hand. So he only wasted our time. Seems like he puts Spanish and English options at all times but can’t handle both languages unless the Spanish speakers agree to take an English one.

Very disappointed that the guru cancelled my tour the day before and left me with no other option to find another Tour with such short notice. We had booked this months ago and he told me he had another tour that ended at 9 PM. Very unprofessional

The tour was around 4-5 hours and conducted by the guide Alfredo; and around 5 people arrived. The guide has a lot of knowledge of Lima and the history of Peru, he gives you a lot of information and answers your questions kindly. You should be aware that when you arrive in Rimac - after the historic city - the team takes a vehicle to go to the Magic Water Circuit and that must be paid separately (you must bring cash). Something that I didn't like was related to the fact that he found that a couple left them little money as a tip, and he told them: The guides must be clear that they work for a voluntary amount of money, and in no way transmit - in one way or another - how much they expect to receive for that service.
