Hello, my name is Juan, I am from La Coruña, Galicia. I moved to London in the 90s and remained there for 20 years. I enjoyed a variety of job roles during my time there such as working in a theatre, travelling extensively working with a catering company (a subsidiary of formula 1) and manager of a department in a renowned British auction house. A few years ago I decided to return to Spain with my family and move to the beautiful town of Santa Pola. I held a position in the tourist Information office at the Santa Pola town hall. Over the last year I have helped tourists from all over the world. I really enjoy this role and was encouraged by many of the tourist’s appreciation of my local knowledge and had been asked a few times why I wasn’t a tour guide! I knew there were very few tour guides serving Santa Pola and I wanted to do something about it. So after hearing about GuruWalk I decided I wanted to join and become a GuruWalk guide to show of this beautiful town that’s full of history, great food and wonderful people. So here I am and I hope to meet you all very soon.
