10/10 recommend. Ibrahim was a great guide and provided an awesome tour! He was kind, knowledgable and attentive. We walked all around downtown Amman, he told us about the history of the city and we got to try falafel, nuts and sweets around the market. Ibrahim also taught us some cultural insights, we learned a lot. Shukran!!

Mohammed was brilliant. An elder gent who has seen Amman grow through all its phases and shared with us lots of stories of his childhood and more. It was during a difficult time for Jordan and tourism was down but Mohammed made sure we had a wonderful and insightful experience. We even stopped for an impromptu pastry from one of the oldest street food stands in the market. Thanks to Mohammed we got to see the heart and soul of the resilient people of Amman and hear of their lives . Thanks Mohammed!

If you’re in Amman, you must do this tour with Osama. It was amazing! This man is so passionate about his city, he showed me many cool places and made me feel very comfortable. Besides tour guide he is also a cook, so we also visited markets, places to taste spices, food, things I’ve never tasted or smelled before, etc. A great cultural experience, I’ve learned a lot about Jordanian culture and also, Osama is very funny, open minded, a great talk and very respectful. For someone who didn’t know what to do on my own in Amman, Osama is your man! (Visiting from the Netherlands, May 2026). Another thing: Everyone seems to know Osama on the streets, shops, markets, it’s really nice to see how they interact with him, such good vibes!

Mohammed was such an amazing tour guide! He is so knowledgeable about the history of Jordan and especially of the city of Amman. We got an inside look on how the locals live here and were taught about the local culture and customs. He showed us many markets and different local foods and restaurants for us to try on the spot and also later on! It was so fascinating walking around the downtown area with him and being able to see things that you otherwise might miss! Mohammed was the absolute sweetest, really just wants you to enjoy your time here!

Excellent tour! Ibrahim walked us thru the different souq’s and around the downtown area. Along the way we were able to try lots of different foods and drinks - which was a pleasant and unexpected surprise! He gave us tips on what to pay, what to buy and areas/shops to be wary of. We booked Majd’s tour on our first day in Amman, and it was absolutely fantastic! Communication beforehand via WhatsApp was seamless, and adjusting the time last-minute due to Ramadan was no problem at all. The tour was led by Majd and his cousin Carlos. Carlos picked us up, brought us to their home, and served tea on their rooftop with a stunning view over Amman. Then Majd joined, and together they guided us through the streets of Amman, sharing fascinating stories, personal anecdotes, and authentic insights into local life. We tried an incredible amount of local food – far more than expected – and even received small gifts. What really stood out: although the tour is tip-based, we were treated to drinks, lots of food, perfume, taxi rides, and more. Their hospitality is truly unmatched! It’s clear that Majd and Carlos are well-connected and know everyone in the neighborhood. Another highlight was a surprise taxi ride up a hill to visit a mosque – unforgettable! The tour was originally planned for 2.5 hours, but we ended up spending 4.5 hours – and every minute was worth it. If you want to explore the markets with locals, ask anything, and get a real sense of life in Amman, this tour is a must. We wish Majd and Carlos all the best and hope they continue to delight many more visitors as they did for us!

Ibrahim was very professional and knowledgeable. The tour is all around down town so no steps to climb! Lots of markets were visited and there were opportunities to try and buy ( if you wanted to - there was no pressure) many foods and other products.
